David Buckley, MD

Dr. David Buckley is a board-certified Radiologist with subspecialty training in Body Imaging. He completed both his radiology residency and fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Buckley earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He graduated summa cum laude from St. Olaf College and was elected into Phi Beta Kappa.

Dr. Buckley has been recognized multiple times as a San Diego “Top Physician.” He possesses expertise in all cross-sectional imaging modalities and imaging-guided procedures, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.

Beyond his medical career, Dr. Buckley is an accomplished violinist. He has served as concertmaster of the La Jolla Symphony for twenty years and is a member of the San Diego chamber music group, Camarada. In his leisure time, he enjoys golf, tennis, and visits to the lake in his home state of Minnesota.
