Lori Baker, MD
Dr. Lori Baker is a board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist with specialized training in Neuroradiology. She graduated with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she was recognized as a Phi Beta Kappa member, a University of California Regents Scholar, and the recipient of the UCLA Women’s Faculty Outstanding Undergraduate Scholarship. Dr. Baker earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where she also dedicated a year to Magnetic Resonance Imaging research.
Following her medical degree, Dr. Baker completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at Stanford University, where she was elected Chief Resident. She further advanced her expertise by undertaking a Neuroradiology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she was awarded the American Society of Neuroradiology Basic Science Research Fellowship.
In 1992, Dr. Baker returned to San Diego to join Imaging Healthcare Specialists. She has since authored 26 scientific papers and presented over 30 papers at major radiology conferences. Dr. Baker is also an enthusiastic educator and has served as a guest lecturer at various radiologic and medical events. Her peers have recognized her excellence, voting her one of San Diego’s “Top Doctors” as acknowledged by the San Diego County Medical Society.
