Sharjeel Sabir, MD, is board-certified in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He serves as medical director of SHIPMG Radiology and chief of radiology at Scripps Mercy Hospital. He is also the founder and medical director of Precision Therapy.
He earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, completed an internship at Methodist Hospital in Houston, and completed his radiology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. He received fellowship training in interventional radiology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he later held leadership roles.
His clinical and research work includes interventional oncology, microwave ablation, endovascular therapies, and treatment of renal masses. He has published research and lectured on these topics.
